The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, at 5704 Paseo del Norte, open for the 2027 season on March 1, 2027. In season it is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the entrance gate closes at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are sold online only. The closing date has not been posted.Checked October 23, 2026.

When to Go

The fields say ranunculus typically peak late March through April and sunflowers from the third week of April to mid-May, depending on the weather.

What We Could Not Verify

  • The 2027 closing date and the general admission price were not posted.
  • The planning page still carries last season’s “extended weekends” banner without a year, so we do not use it.
  • The official site is theflowerfields.com; flowerfields.com has an expired certificate.
