Short answer: The City of San Diego lists 9 reservoirs. Eight name one day a month when they are closed (Hodges names none), Miramar and Murray list daily hours, and the boat ramps at El Capitan and Sutherland are closed for low water. Read October 23, 2026.

How We Built It
We read each reservoir’s City page on October 23, 2026 and summarized its hours section in plain words, keeping the City’s days, months and times. Hodges lists no monthly closure on the text we read; we did not guess one. Holidays: the City lists most reservoirs closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day and open Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day (Barrett is closed Memorial Day and Labor Day). Other lakes in the county are run by other agencies and are not in this table.
