What We Could Not Verify
- Current hours: the visitor center page was last updated August 21, 2025 and may not apply in winter 2026-27.
- The status of the road and burned-area closures: the alert titles have no dates or detail.
- Sunrise Highway can close in snow: a search summary only, not read on a Forest Service page.
- Free days: not confirmed. The Forest Service has no page for a single Laguna Mountain Recreation Area gate or fee beyond the Adventure Pass.
