What We Could Not Verify
- Inferred, not posted: the Julian Fourth of July Parade on July 4, 2027 (the organizer page says the parade is held on July 4th and mentions 2027; time not read) and the Julian Rocks Gem Show, which shows only the month of May 2027 with no days, venue or price.
- Unconfirmed details: the Halloween Pet Parade price and whether the organizer marks it family-friendly; the Borrego Springs Movie in the Park title, rating and location (check before treating it as a family event); the Circle of Art venue, time and price; the Borrego Days 2027 venue, hours and family status.
- Dates conflict: Borrego Days is October 16 to 17, 2027 on the chamber home page, while borregodays.com still shows October 17 to 18, 2026 (past) and the chamber event-details page is from 2019. We used the chamber home page.
- Library programs were read only through early to mid November 2026 (Julian through November 3, Borrego Springs through November 10, Descanso through November 14). Recurring programs are shown only for the dates listed, so later weeks may exist.
- The Borrego Springs Certified Farmers Market shows only the November 6, 2026 date on the chamber home page; the season window and price are not confirmed.
- No date posted yet, so not listed: Julian Apple Days and other apple season events, Julian Country Christmas (only the months November and December are posted; last year’s dates have passed), the Julian Dark Sky Festival and Carnival at the Square (August, year not stated), Borrego Valley Hawkwatch (February to April), the Desert Garden Tour, Anza-Borrego wildflower season and Borrego Springs Christmas events.
- No organizer event page was found for Descanso, Pine Valley, Mount Laguna or Cuyamaca. The state park page for Cuyamaca Rancho said no upcoming events are listed, and the Julian Pioneer Museum page lists none.
- Pages that failed: the Anza-Borrego Foundation events calendar (loads by script and returned nothing), theabf.org/events (404), the old Julian chamber addresses and borregosprings.org (certificate error).
- Left out as alcohol-centered or not for children: the Grape Stomp, a brewfest and Sip and Taste of Julian events, and library adult classes. Also left out: a members-only chili fest, a 2025 attic and book sale and an ultramarathon dated 2028 and 2029.

FAQ
Where are the Julian Apple Days dates?
The organizer pages we read on October 23, 2026 showed no 2026 or 2027 dates for Julian Apple Days or other apple season events, only an image flyer. We list none.
Why is the Julian Rocks Gem Show shown as a month?
The chamber-run site gives only the month, May 2027. The start and end dates shown are the month window, not event days.
Why is Borrego Days shown for 2027?
The Borrego Springs Chamber home page gives October 16 to 17, 2027 for the 61st festival. The borregodays.com site still shows the 2026 festival, which is past.
