Because volunteers staff the museum, a posted open day is not a guarantee. Call 760-765-0227. Julian Town Hall and the Eagle Mining Co. tour are also in town.

What We Could Not Verify

  • Hours conflict: the museum’s own site says Friday 11-3 and Saturday and Sunday 10-4; the county parks page says 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. year-round. The museum’s site wins.
  • Whether it is open on a given Friday to Sunday (volunteer-staffed), and any seasonal closure: the page states none.
  • Free days other than children 12 and under: not confirmed.
  • Map point is from OpenStreetMap, not an official coordinate.
