Fire Rules
The city page says charcoal fires only. Wood fires or pressed wood logs are never permitted due to extreme fire danger.
Fees Conflict
A search excerpt mentioned a 2024 fee PDF with $35 tent and $60 hookup rates. The city’s own camping page, read directly, says $30 and $50, and that is what this page uses.
More About This Lake
See Dixon Lake for fishing and the lake.
What We Could Not Verify
- The total number of campsites and the street address: the city page gives neither. The City of Escondido reservation line (760-839-4045) can confirm.
- Whether the older $35 and $60 fee figures from a 2024 PDF still apply. The city can confirm; this page uses the current city page.
- Coordinates were not retrieved, so no map point is shown.
