How a Visit Works
You cannot just wander in. Book a Wednesday to Friday tour online. The campus is closed to visitors on weekends, holidays and some private events. Allow 15 to 20 minutes to park and walk, the page says.
On The Tour
The tour is docent-led and lasts one hour. No professional photography is allowed on tours. The page notes some conservation work in the courtyard.
What We Could Not Verify
- The page does not state a minimum age. The Salk Institute can confirm.
- Accessibility details were not found. The Salk Institute can confirm.
- The map point is from OpenStreetMap and is approximate. An older Salk URL (/visit/public-tours/) returned a not-found page, so we used /visit/.
