What You Can Do

The Gliderport describes itself as a flying site for paragliding, hang gliding, remote control models and sailplanes, with flight lessons, tandem flights, equipment sales and repair, and nearly 100 years of flying history. You do not have to fly: the cliff-top cafe looks onto the launch area and the Pacific.

Is It Flyable Today

The site offers a live cam and a conditions page. Flying depends on weather, so check before you go. Call (858) 452-9858 if the cafe is a deciding factor on a foggy or rainy day.

Not To Be Confused With
