Part of Fishing in San Diego, our guide to fishing, long-range sportfishing and whale watching in San Diego.
Fisherman’s Landing is at 2838 Garrison Street, San Diego, CA 92106, and prints (619) 221-8500 as its phone. It lists five long-range boats (Excel, Royal Polaris, Royal Star, Searcher, Shogun) plus half-day and multi-day boats. Its gated lot charges $5 to $15 after 30 free minutes.Checked October 23, 2026.

Boats and Trips
Long range: Excel, Royal Polaris, Royal Star, Searcher and Shogun. Half-day and multi-day boats include Bight Sportfishing, Constitution, Dolphin, Fortune, Islander, Liberty, Lucky B Sportfishing, Pacific Dawn, Pacific Queen, Pegasus, Poseidon, Seasons 34, Tomahawk and Whale Hello. Trip types are half day, full day, multi-day, open party, private charter, long range and “Nature & Ecology.” See the long-range overview.
Food, Bait and Seasickness
The home page says bait is included on half-day trips and many offshore trips, and meals on many multi-day trips. The FAQ says you may bring your own food but coolers of any kind are not allowed aboard, boats sell meals and drinks, and the onsite tackle shop sells Bonine and recommends seasickness medicine. Tackle rental is an extra on most trips; prices were not posted.
Arriving
The FAQ suggests arriving an hour early. Free street parking is down North Harbor Drive. The landing’s separate parking page did not load for us, so the figures above come from its FAQ.
