Point Loma Tackle Shops and Hats

Part of Fishing in San Diego, our guide to fishing, long-range sportfishing and whale watching in San Diego.

Two Point Loma landings run their own tackle shops. Fisherman’s Landing Tackle Shop at 2838 Garrison St says it stocks rods, reels, tackle and bait and is open daily. H&M Landing has a tackle shop and an online store that shows a hat. A good stop the day before a trip.Checked October 23, 2026.

Fisherman’s Landing Tackle Shop

The shop’s site says “We stock rods, reels, tackle, and bait for all types of fishing,” with categories for hooks, line, jigs and lures, tools, eyewear and accessories. It also mentions UV-blocking shirts and waterproof jackets. Whether it sells hats was not stated. See the Fisherman’s Landing page.

H&M Landing Shop

H&M Landing’s site refers to its tackle shop and shows a hat in its online shop. A post says the shop restocked a lure brand’s hooks and colors. The full inventory is not listed. See the H&M Landing page.

Upgrade Your Tackle

Ask the shop staff what they recommend for your trip type before you buy; each landing also lists tackle suggestions and rental. The landing pages here cover trip tiers and what to bring.

Make A Day Of It

Browse the shops in the afternoon, then eat at Mitch’s Seafood. A new hat is an easy souvenir.
